Abstract Background

ONE LIFE

You’re a Square with one objective: race to the finish line without dying!  Along the way you must dodge obstacles and protect your one life. Anything can and will kill you. Using the objects around you, your challenge is to traverse each level and survive.

​

This game was made in 2 Weeks and was my entry to the BAFTA YDG Game Making competition. I was delighted to be a Finalist in this BAFTA competition as the standard of entries was very high.

POTION-FIRE

Potion-Fire is a first person shooter in which your ammunition takes the form of potions and your mission is to defeat an oncoming storm of enemies before diving underground and taking down the final boss.

​

Along with Unity to create the game, I used Blender to 3D model the map, enemies and weapons and then I used Audacity to create the sound.

​

This is my biggest game created in less than 4 weeks. I wanted to make graphics my top priority.

LITTLE RED BLOOD

You must traverse levels, climb walls and jump over obstacles to get to the finish line while dodging enemies along the way. As a vampire, every enemy you kill will increase your energy and power - allowing you to take down even more enemies as you progress.

LIGHTS OUT

In this game, you must memorise the level in 3 seconds before the lights go out. You must traverse the level, moving boxes and activating buttons and switches from your memory. 

​

This game was made in less than 3 Days for the IcoJam 2023 with the theme "3...2...1". I also collaborated with an artist and musician to create the game's sound effects, music and artwork.

THE HIDDEN LABYRINTH

This is a 2 Player Game where one of you is trapped inside the maze with ghosts ready at every corner, waiting to kill you. As the Second Player, you must guide your friend to safety. Your task is to keep Player One away from the ghosts and help them navigate towards the keys which will allow their escape.

 

This game was created in less than a week for the Multiplayer Game Jam.

BATTLE ABYSS

Battle Abyss is a 2D single player top down shooter where the aim of the game is to capture the point and gain random upgrades to help you survive the endless waves of enemies trying to take you down.

NO TIME WASTED

No Time Wasted is Wave Based First Person Shooter where you must kill enemies to keep the timer up or you die. Equipped with a Rifle and Shotguns you must kill the ever growing enemies who are ready to destroy you at every corner.

UNNAMED RACING GAME

The Unnamed Racing Game is a fast action-packed racer. Your aim is to take down your competition and be the first to the finish line.

​

This was one of my first ever games and taught me a lot of the fundamental ideas of creating a game. I learnt about car physics, 3D modelling, AI and making versatile systems to be used in the future.
